Tosai Sushi -- Century City

The Westfield Century City Mall has a new Japanese option in its beautifully renovated food court, and you are going to want to check it out ASAP.  Tosai Sushi serves up fresh sushi, made with only sustainable ingredients that are free of antibiotics and growth hormones. And none of our products contain MSG or artificial colors or flavors.

As you can imagine, this is no regular food court sushi stand. Yes, Tosai Sushi has prepackaged sushi ready to purchase and eat on the go. But it is all made fresh by chefs right before your eyes. Nothing sits in the counter for more than a couple hours, and anything you’d like that you don’t see in the case or that you want amended in someway, the chefs will happily make for you specifically.  When I stopped by, I came at the end of the lunch rush, but was impressed to see the case was still constantly being filled with new, freshly made items.

I had the opportunity to taste A LOT of delicious menu items. Everything tasted so fresh. The first thing I ate was a Tuna Avocado Roll—and I may have made a mistake there because it was SO good, I honestly filled up on it more than I should have in order to properly pace myself. If you are in the mood for other simple, sushi classics, the Salmon Roll was great, as was the Shrimp Tempura Roll. Looking for something a bit more special? Tosai Sushi has you covered there, too. With rolls like Crunchy Kaffir Lime Shrimp and Crunchy Sriracha Salmon, your taste buds won’t be bored.

There are also plenty of vegan and gluten free options. And the vegan options are as beautiful as they are tasty. For instance, the Orchid Roll is made with their signature black vegan rice, avocados, and a special vegan orchid sauce. The Chili Mango Roll is another popular pick.

Tosai Sushi’s menu doesn’t stop with rolls. They offer edamame, noodles, poke, sushi burritos, and for a sweet treat at the end of your meal, mochi.

Due to the nature of their environmentally friendly, easy packaging, Tosai Sushi is a perfect pick for food court dining. They cater, too, so you’ll definitely want to keep that in mind.

I always find myself craving sushi, so I look forward to stopping by again next time I’m at the Century City Mall.
